90 men and 70 women fought for the 25 places in the A-finals, which will be held on Saturday (August 5, 10 a. m. CET) in Leibnitz.

The best five (5) in each heat are qualified for the A-finals.
The runners on positions six to ten (6-10) will compete in the B-finals.
